Chinggis Khaan Monument
This 40-metre tall statue stands on top of the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, a visitor centre and museum on the bank of the Tuul River where, according to legend, The Great Khaan found a gold whip.
At the base of the statue, you can try on traditional Mongolian costumes, tour the numerous portraits of the Khaan lineage, and visit the subterranean museum before climbing to the horse’s head, for a panoramic view over the surrounding landscape towards Chinggis' birthplace.
